Anyone here a Metclub member? it would probably get to them that way by posting on the Metclub message board because we know the band checks that all the time.

I`m a club-member.
No, you`re wrong. Lars checks PPM just sometimes..and when he checks it, not for a long tme. I dont think he would read any "requests".....

PPM = Poor Posting Me (The Metclub message board)

The band doesn't ever check the message board (or maybe extreeeemly rarely). When they do talk about the board or get on it, it's because Jeff (their webmaster) or Fixxxer (Their board admin) has told them about something they saw.

I was being sarcastic when I suggested a petition. Those petitions are running rampant all over PPM. One guy started "Official PPM for babble from Lars" and then they saw that lars actually did it so now everyone has a petition for something, its way out of hand.

Do you know how often the band checks the overall Metclub cause I know they very very rarely check the original Metallica.com message board?

I dont know of them ever checking the metallica.com board. They dont check any board themselves, they have people who administer the club board that tell them about things sometimes.

Lars has been known to rarely pop into the metclub chat room when not touring or recording, but thats it for band members on the internet.

My favourite very old songs to play on the stage:
The frayed ends of sanity
To live is to die
Don't tread on me
The struggle within
Escape
Fixxxer
Carpe diem baby

Am i the only one who finds it a fucking travesty that they haven't played Hero Of The Day in 10 goddam years?
While it's not the heaviest song ever or anything epically long or crazy soloed-out...i think it's one of the best fusions of a driving hard chorus and a softer almost acoustic verse. I just really like it's bipolarity and really think it should be played again. Outlaw Torn for that matter too..
